Hit-and-run: 2 police volunteers killed in accident
The bus driver managed to escape, abandoning the vehicle.
FAISALABAD:
Two police volunteers were killed and a third was injured in a road accident in the Thikriwala police area.Police said Ata Mohammad of Chak 246-RB, Abdul Razzaq of Chak 76-JB and Mohammad Babar of Chak 257-RB were riding a motorcycle when they were hit by a bus near Saddar Bypass on the Jhang road. Ata Mohammad and Abdul Razzaq died on the spot while Babar was taken to hospital in a critical condition. The bus driver managed to escape, abandoning the vehicle.
