Crime: Two booked on fraud charges
The police have registered separate cases against the suspects but no arrests were made till this report was filed.
ISLAMABAD:
The Kohsar police booked two persons for issuing bogus bank cheques on Saturday.
In the first incident, Riaz Kiani lodged a complaint with the police, accusing Faisal Qureshi of issuing three bogus cheques for Rs220,000 to him.
In the second incident, Zahir Hussain reported to the police that he received two cheques for Rs1.02 million from Shaukat Qureshi, but both the cheques were dishonoured by the bank.
