Athletics: Ehsan wins mini marathon
As many as 300 people participated in it.

Muhammad Ehsan, a resident of Chak 68-JB, on Sunday won a mini marathon while Muhammad Nawaz and Haroon Gill of Faisalabad stood second and third, respectively. The race was organised by the Faisalabad Divisional Sports Committee as part of Punjab Youth Festival 2012. Divisional Commissioner Tahir Husain and acting District Coordination Officer Waheed Akhtar Ansari opened the race at Abdullah Pur Chowk at 9:00am. As many as 300 people participated in it. They athletes covered 15 kilometres along the Canal Road. The three top athletes were awarded cash prizes of Rs20,000, Rs15,000 and Rs10,000, respectively. Local Government Director Chaudhry Asif and Assistance Commissioner Shafiullah distributed the prizes.
