Bogus lawyers: LBA to issue codes to members
The CC issuance will continue till October 15.

The Lahore Bar Association is to start issuing counsel codes to its members from Monday to try and stop lawyers from appearing in the courts, said LBA General Secretary Asad Abbas Zaidi.
He said the lawyers would write their counsel code on the letters of attorney and petitions and the staff of the district and sessions judge and the senior civil judge would verify these through a computerised database before a petition is entertained. The CC issuance will continue till October 15.
