Boxing: Bellew to battle Bolonti
Argentina’s Bolonti has won 30 of his 31 fights but has never taken anyone on outside of his homeland.
Tony Bellew is determined to take a shot at the world title when he takes on Roberto Bolonti on November 17, on the undercard of Carl Froch versus Yusaf Mack, according to ESPN. Argentina’s Bolonti, 33, has won 30 of his 31 fights but has never taken anyone on outside of his homeland. “He’s ranked above me by every single organisation,” said Bellew. “He’s the WBC number six and he comes with a great record.” The Brit is, however, in danger of giving only two month gaps between his bouts, having beaten Edison Miranda to win the WBC silver crown in September.
