Football: WAPDA through to women’s semis
The team will play Islamabad after they defeated Vehari FC 3-0.

Wapda booked their place in the semi-final of the National Women’s Championship and will play Islamabad after they defeated Vehari FC 3-0 in Rawalpindi yesterday. Wapda took the lead in the 16th minute through Aqeela, while Rafia Fatima sealed the win with back-to-back goals. Meanwhile, Baloch United FC stunned Diya FC in the second quarter-final of the day as Riffat Fatima scored a hat-trick. Baloch United will now be playing their first semi-final of the championship and will take on defending champions Young Rising Stars FC tomorrow.
