Football: Diya FC, Wapda book last-8 spots
Defending champions Young Rising Star FC will play Lahore School of Economics in the first quarter-final today.

Diya FC booked their place in the quarter-finals of the National Woman Football Championship with a 3-0 win over Balochistan in their last group D match yesterday. Hajra Khan, Hina and Kiran Ali were the goal scorers. In other matches, Vehari FC also made the cut for the last-eight defeating Fata 12-0. Tahira and Gulnaz were the standout performers of the match. Also through to the quarter-finals were Wapda, who defeated Punjab 5-0. Rafia scored a brace, while Shakila, Shagufta and Mahwish scored a goal each. In the last group match of the day, Balochistan United crushed The City School FC 10-0.
