Get the look: A perfect 10

Diana Penty looked sultry and sexy at the Elle Beauty Awards 2012. The Bollywood model-turned-movie star, from the summer romcom Cocktail , looked a perfect 10 in this shimmery Bottega Veneta dress at the event.

Make-up

Dazzling Diana used deep metallic shades for her almond eyes, as she opted for the smokey look. She outlined them in black and thickened those lashes with heavy mascara. A peachy glow for the cheeks with a dull pink lipstick made it complete. You can use Luscious Glamoreyes Intense, which includes eye-liner (Rs850), Maybelline’s Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara (Rs890), Color Studio’s Pixie Pink blush and Rimmel’s Kate Moss Lasting Finish-shade 8 for the lips (Rs800) to get a similar look.

Hair

To get Diana’s voluminous waves is easier than you think. Air-dry your hair, and when it’s 90% dry, part it in three sections: top, center, and bottom. Use a curling iron with a jumbo barrel without opening the clamp. Wrap the sections of your hair around the barrel for 30 seconds (start at six inches from crown and twist away from face). Let it fall, and use L’Oreal extra strength spray (Rs695) to hold the waves.

Accessories

The 27-year-old enhanced her razzle-dazzle look with long golden earrings, a chunky golden bracelet on one hand and a gold-silver Rolex watch on the other. She also carried a gold and silver stone embellished clutch to go with her gorgeous outfit. Similar earrings and bracelet can be found at any artificial accessories shop for (Rs1,000)

Outfit

Diana’s peplum dress, black with metallic wavy accents, was from the Bottega Veneta fall collection 2012. The style of the dress really complemented Diana’s slender figure, enhancing her curves in the right places. Hunt through outlets like Mango, Mantra, and Debenhams to find something similar (Rs9,000) or get a lovely digital print dress custom made from Maheen Karim.

Shoes

Her stone-embellished shiny shoes enhanced the glam-look Diana wanted. The glittery strappy Jimmy Choo heels were perfect to match her clutch and complete her impeccable style. Make a trip to Nine West and get a similar pair (Rs10,000) or visit a local shoe store and get them for much cheaper (Rs4,000).
