Speaking at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, Kaira said that the Pakistan Peoples Party-led government has “always owned up” to mistakes made in the past, even “if they were made by previous leaderships.” He said the PPP had been doing this in order to prevent any damage caused to Pakistan’s image.
Kaira said that the PPP does not please people by sloganeering like Sharif.
Responding to a question on why the PPP leadership did not meet former chief minister Balochistan Akhtar Mengal, while other political parties did, Kaira said that it was better to avoid going into details as it would further “increase the bitterness”.
He said that the party had welcome him and that nothing more could be said on the matter.
The PML-N chief had earlier warned that the fluid security situation in the province will worsen if “hidden powers” tried to influence the next parliamentary election.
Following a meeting with Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) leader Talal Bugti in Raiwind, Nawaz had said political forces should be given a chance to play a role in restoring normalcy in Balochistan.

Mr Kaira has played very well to the gallery, however, this is not how to run a country. Why should Nawaz Shareef take responsibility of consequences after the FC is removed from Balochistan. Did FC get consent from Mr Nawaz Shareef before starting the operation in Balochistan. Mr. Kaira is a minister whereas Mr Shareef is just one single Pakistani, so he must carefully weigh his words uttering something.
Kaira is on the dot.
Now peoples are well aware about your policies and if all responsibility take other then what is cause of your Govt Mr. Kaira?
very well said Kaira. I personaly never liked you but endorse your comments.
What a third-rate statement ! There is a PPP led government both in the center and Baluchistan, and he wants Nawaz Sharif to take responsibility.
People(s!) Party was playing petty politics on East Pakistan to gain power, now it does not care a fig about Balochistan. We hope Balochistan does not meet the similar fate.
@Noble Tufail: ELECTIONS my Bro :)
What are you "fixing" with FC in Baluchistan Kaira saab.
free and clean elections required with no dishonesty
Simple have just and fair elections, Mr. Kaira
Well Said Mr. Kaira. Your proposition is worth a try, if Sharifs are genuine in their resolve.
