Upcoming elections: Nationalist parties vow to oppose PPP, LG system

In a high-level meeting with Pir Pagaro at his residence, nationalist political parties from across Sindh decided to oppose the Pakistan Peoples Party on the local government system and declared no alliance will be made in the upcoming general elections with them.

Parties that were part of the meeting included the National Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League-Functional and PML-likeminded. Pir Pagaro said during the meeting: “I will go and personally mobilise the people of Sindh and tell them how the local government system is harmful for us.”
