PHA workers have started removing the debris from and planting flowers at green belts on 25 model roads.

Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) workers have started removing the debris from and planting flowers at green belts on 25 model roads. The commissioner paid surprise visits to sites on Ferozepur Road, Peco Road, Canal Bank Road, Multan Road and the Muslim Town underpass. Earlier in the day, Malik met with officials at the Traffic Engineering and Planning Agency (Tepa) site office near Gulab Devi Hospital. The commissioner was told that 80 per cent of the debris on green belts had been removed. He was told that green belts from the Canal to Gulberg, Dharampura to Ferozepur Road, and The Mall to Jail Road and on towards FCC were being kept clean.
