Water theft: Abida Hussain, Faisal Hayat charged
The complainant said the accused were irrigating their lands by causing a breach in the Massan distributary .

A water theft case has been registered against 12 people, including senior People’s Party Pakistan leader Begum Abida Husain, her son Abid Imam, former federal minister Faisal Saleh Hayat, his brother Asad Hayat and former minister of state Mian Iftikhar Ali Bukhari. The case was registered on a written complaint by the Shah Jewna sub divisional officer. The complainant said the accused were irrigating their lands by causing a breach in the Massan distributary in the Ratta Matta, Dosera and Shah Jewna villages.
