Kidnapped girl’s father threatens suicide
Mansha said he submitted an application to the Millat Town police station but his complaint was not registered.

A man threatened on Sunday to commit suicide in front of the city police officer’s office if his daughter kidnapped allegedly by some influential people is not recovered within a week.
Talking to the media here on Sunday, Mansha Masih, a resident of Street 4, Shamsabad, said his daughter, Shumaila, 20, had worked at the Masood Textile Mills, Faisalabad. On September 22, he said, he dropped her at the factory. When he went to pick her, he was told that she had already left for home.
He said the family looked for her but in vain.

Later, he was told by some mill workers that Sharif and Zafar had kidnapped Shumaila and were keeping her at a house in Street 17, Mohallah Chibban. Mansha said he submitted an application to the Millat Town police station but his complaint was not registered. He said the kidnappers were influential people. Millat Town SHO Abid Zafar said they would take action according to the law.
