Official inefficiency: Only 62 fire hydrants working

WASA officials informed that there were only 140 fire hydrants in Lahore and 62 of them were working.

Commissioner Jawad Rafique Malik has given a three-day deadline to WASA officials to repair 78 non-operational fire hydrants in Lahore.


During a briefing on Saturday, WASA officials informed that there were only 140 fire hydrants in Lahore and 62 of them were working. Malik ordered to fix the hydrants in three days and submit a report to his office. He ordered a plan for installing new fire hydrants as quickly as possible.
