Striker Ansar Abbas scored a brace to give Army an easy 2-0 win against Wohaib FC in their Pakistan Premier Football League match yesterday.
In the other match of the day, PAF registered a 2-0 win against Wapda at the Railway Football Stadium in Lahore. Irfan Ali of Wapda scored in the 24th minute to send the teams into the interval at 1-0. The second half turned out to be a feisty affair as four yellow cards were splashed out but it was Mujahid Ahmed’s goal eight minutes from time that sealed three points for PAF.
