Section 144: Public gatherings banned for 3 days
The Sindh government has also appealed to the people to remain peaceful.
KARACHI:
The Sindh government has enforced Section 144, banning all forms of processions, rallies and public gatherings in Karachi for three days with effect from today (Saturday).
The decision has been taken in view of the violent incidents during the recent rallies in which precious human lives were lost and properties were damaged. The police have been directed to take strict action against the violators.
The Sindh government has also appealed to the people to remain peaceful as the ban has been imposed in the larger interest of the public.
