PCB Chairman submits report on spot-fixing
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ejaz Butt presented a report of the spot-fixing scandal of Pakistan to Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and President Asif Ali Zardari.
The report asked for an access to bookie Mazhar Majeed who was released on bail on Monday.
It further stated that the request for the access must be made by the Pakistan High Commission to the British Foreign Office.
Meanwhile, London police have claimed that investigations into the matter are underway while no arrests related to the team management or players have been made.
Earlier, as many as four members of the Pakistan national cricket team were named by the bookmaker to be involved in the spot-fixing scam.
