Set free: Two men acquitted of robbery charges
Accused were acquitted as the prosecution could not link them with the evidence of the alleged offence.

Muhammad Jafar and Muhammad Sajjad were acquitted of robbery charges as the prosecution could not link them with the evidence of the alleged offence on Wednesday. The case was fixed for final arguments and after the hearing the second senior civil judge, Malir, Sikandar Ameer Pahore, said the men were free to go under section 265 H (i) of the Criminal Procedure Code. According to FIR no. 173/2011 which was registered under section 392/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code, the men mugged the complainant and his friend near Macro Super Store on Shahrae Faisal in June 2011.
