On The Run: Detainee escapes police custody
The police have surrounded the area but the accused could not be arrested till the filing of this report.
ABBOTABAD:
A man escaped police custody after jumping out of a moving police vehicle on Wednesday. Police said that Noorzada, a resident of Mardan, was being transported from Mansehra District Jail to the Abbottabad District Court for his bail plea hearing. When the police van reached near Neelay Per village, around 3km from Abbottabad city, Noorzada jumped out of the van and disappeared into the nearby forest. The police have surrounded the area but the accused could not be arrested till the filing of this report.
