Crime in Quetta: One man killed, two kidnapped

QUETTA: One man was killed and three others were wounded on Tuesday in separate incidents of firing in Quetta and Mastung, while two members of the Hindu community were kidnapped from Bolan district. According to police, unidentified armed men opened fire in Mastung. As a result, one man identified as Abdul Rahim Bangulzai succumbed to his injuries while he was being shifted to a nearby hospital. In another incident, a man opened fire and wounded his three nephews in the Karotabad area of Quetta over a property dispute. Elsewhere, unidentified armed men kidnapped two members of the Hindu community from Bagh area of Bolan district. Sources said that Sonu Kumar and Rao Kumar were returning home to Mastung after attending a wedding party when the men kidnapped them at gunpoint. Local administration has registered a case and begun an investigation into the kidnapping. Meanwhile, unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire on two Afghan transit containers in Ganj Dori area of Mastung due to which one container overturned after its driver lost control over steering.
