Linkage Programme: KCCI, KU sign cooperation agreement
KCCI urged to mobilise business community to support different programmes initiated by the KU business school alumni.
KARACHI:
Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and the University of Karachi (KU), under KCCI’s Universities-Industries Linkage Programme, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote entrepreneurship and produce professionals as per need of the corporate sector and industries. KCCI President Mian Abrar Ahmad and KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Qaiser termed the initiative a productive move by two leading entities of the metropolitan city which believed in ownership and optimum reciprocating to society and the country. Qaiser said that the KU mainly offers education to under privileged and middle class society on nominal fees and hence faces fund limitations. He urged the KCCI to mobilise the business community to support different programmes initiated by the KU business school alumni.
