Price hikes: CDGL teams to ensure fuel supply

Mengal directed monitoring teams to take action against such pumps taht stop selling fuel after a fuel price increase.

LAHORE:
Special monitoring teams have been constituted to take action against petrol pumps that stop selling fuel after a fuel price increase. It has become a routine practice for petrol pumps to stop fuel supply after a price fluctuation is announced.  DCO Noorul Amin Mengal said special teams have been consisting of all assistant commissioners, district officers (labour) and district officers (civil defense). Mengal directed all monitoring teams to check all petrol pumps and take action against those not selling petrol on such a day. He asked them to seal the petrol pumps and register FIRs against the culprits.
