Elections: AJK Chamber gets new president
Seasoned entrepreneur Mian Khalid Rafiq has been elected unopposed.

Seasoned entrepreneur Mian Khalid Rafiq has been elected unopposed president of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AJKCCI) for a one-year term.
In the elections of the chamber held here on Wednesday, Babar Shehzad and Shabbir Chaudhry were elected unopposed senior vice president and vice president respectively for the period 2012-13.
No rival candidates challenged the new elected office-bearers during the elections. “Official results of the elections will be announced in the annual general meeting of the chamber next week,” Chamber Secretary Chaudhry Shafiq Ahmed told the media later in the evening.
