‘32 of 50 selected properties auctioned so far’
Commissioner seeks cost estimates of the remaining.

As many as 32 of the 50 public properties chosen for auction in Bahawalpur division have been sold so far, Commissioner Muhammad Khan Khichi was told in a meeting on Tuesday.
The commissioner directed the officials concerned to estimate costs of the remaining 18 properties and to ensure that they were auctioned in a timely and transparent manner, in accordance with the rules and regulations.
Of the 18 buildings that are yet to auctioned in the division, two are in Bahawalpur district, seven in Bahawalnagar district and nine in Rahim Yar Khan district.
The meeting was also attended by Privatisation Board Secretary Anwar Rasheed and Dr Naeem Rauf and Asim Iqbal, the district coordination officers of Bahawalpur and Bahwalnagar, respectively.
