South Waziristan: Work begins on UAE donated hospital
The foundation of this hospital which is worth millions of rupees was laid by UAE Project Director.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will set up Sheikha Fatima Hospital in South Waziristan to provide healthcare facilities to women and children. The foundation of this hospital which is worth millions of rupees was laid on Monday by UAE Project Director Abdullah Khalifa Al Ghafli. Major General Zahir Shah, commander of the GOC 45th Engineers Division of the army, other military and civilian officers, tribal chieftains, dignitaries and members of the local community also attended the ceremony, said a UAE Embassy press release. Al Ghafli said that the hospital would also provide modern healthcare facilities to the elderly people of the region as well as women and children.
