The role of the ISI (II)

My two cents sir is that keeping the Taliban in good shape is a big service to whom?

TORONTO:
To quote General Durrani’s article:  “I have no idea what our super spooks have done to earn this recognition, but if there was any reality in the perception that the ISI has kept the Taliban in good shape against all odds, then at least in my reckoning it has done us all a big service.”

My two cents sir is that keeping the Taliban in good shape is a big service to whom? Thousands of Pakistanis have been attacked and killed and maimed by the Taliban. And here we have the writer, a former head of the ISI, saying that the help provided to the Taliban by the ISI should be applauded.
