Defining obscenity: SC summons information secretary
Court noted that there had been no permanent chairman of Pemra for the past two years.
ISLAMABAD:
A three-judge bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, has summoned the federal information secretary for the next hearing to explain why a permanent chairman of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) had not been appointed so far. The court noted that there had been no permanent chairman of Pemra for the past two years.
