Monsoon: Weather turns pleasant after rain
The Met Office has forecast rain spells to continue till September 18.

Scattered rains turned the city’s weather pleasant on Sunday. The Meteorological Department recorded the rain until 8am at 9 millimetres (mm) at the airport and 6mm on Jail Road. Meanwhile, 5mm rain was recorded at Jail Road by 5pm till the time this report was filed. The Met Office has forecast rain spells to continue till September 18. The maximum temperature was recorded at 320C and the minimum at 230C.
