Raid: Man held for making ‘fake’ tamarind
Samples of the materials have been sent for analysis to a laboratory.
FAISALABAD:
A man was arrested on Saturday after a factory producing fake tamarind raided on Jaranwala Road. Admin Officer Riaz Husain Anjum led the raid at a house in Faisalabad Town and arrested accused Sajid Raza for preparing the spurious tamarind. The raiding team seized a large quantity of chemicals and 70 bags of dates. Samples of the materials have been sent for analysis to a laboratory.
