Petrol price up by Rs6.82 per litre
Prices of diesel products reduced; prices to go in effect from September 17.

Consumers will face a hike in petrol price by Rs6.82 per litre, taking the price of petroleum to Rs106.72 per litre, Express News reported on Sunday.
A notification by the government was issued in this regard, along with new prices for other fuel products.
The price of high speed diesel has been reduced by 1.75 paisas, taking the new price to Rs113.77 per litre, while the price of light diesel was reduced to 14 paisas taking the new price to Rs99.27.
The price of kerosene oil has been raised by 62 paisas; the new price is Rs104.68.
According to reports, the price of CNG may rise by Rs6.20 per kilogram, according to the formula, due to its link with 60% parity of petrol price.
According to sources, the new prices will go in effect from September 17.
