SIALKOT: The Sialkot district and sessions judge has summoned the Hajipura station house officer on September 17 in a petition seeking registration of a case against three people accused of kidnapping and forcing the petitioner’s wife and daughter into prostitution. Petitioner Muhammad Nadeem has requested the court to direct the police to register his complaint and arrest the suspects. He said no action had been taken on his applications to the offices of the Hajipura station house officer and the Sialkot district police officer. The petitioner alleged that his wife and five children had been kidnapped while he was abroad for work. He said the kidnappers had forced his wife and a daughter into sex work.  Hajipura Station House Officer Riaz Bajwa told The Express Tribune that Friday was his first day at work in Hajipura. He expressed ignorance of the petitioner’s application.
