Prepare for general elections, Zardari tells PPP office-bearers
Co-chairman PPP expresses confidence that the party will win elections despite challenges being currently faced.

President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday urged the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) office-bearers to step up efforts for reaching out to the people in their respective areas and address their issues at their doorsteps, besides preparing the workers for the next general elections.
He expressed confidence that the party will win the elections despite the challenges the government and the party was facing on various fronts.
Zardari, the co-chairman of PPP was talking to a delegation of PPP Punjab office-bearers, who had called on him at the Governor House in Lahore.
The delegation included Raja Riaz, Imtiaz Safdar Warraich, Haji Chan, Zulfikar Gondal, Shaukat Basra, Ashraf Sohna and Amer Dogar.
Matters pertaining to reorganisation of the party, preparations for the upcoming general elections and development issues in their respective areas were discussed during the meeting.
The office-bearers expressed full confidence in the leadership of the party and the government and appreciated the steps being taken for the welfare and uplift of the common people of the country.
