SIU arrests two extortionists in Karachi
Police recovered weapons and stolen mobile phones from the possession of the suspects.

The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of police claim to have arrested two suspected extortionists in separate raids, recovering weapons and stolen mobiles phones from them.
On the directives of SSP SIU Faroque Awan, two teams of anti-extortion cell conducted a raids at Firdos Shopping Center Liaqatabad and a location in DHA phase VII, arresting Kashif Ahmed and Muhammad Zaman respectively. Police recovered weapons and stolen mobile phones from their possession.
According to SIU, both men were involved in collecting extortion money and looting valuables from commuters. They further claimed that Kashif Ahmed had demanded extortion money from the owner of a fishing company, while Muhammad Zaman had demanded Rs50,000 from the owner of a construction company, where he served as an employee.
