Agreement signed: KU and Mauritius university collaborate
MOU is signed to promote scientific exchange between the two institutions.
KARACHI:
Karachi University (KU) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Mauritius to promote scientific exchange between the two institutions. Prof. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhry, the director of KU’s International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences, and Dr BF Khodabocus, the director of quality assurance at the University of Mauritius, signed the agreement on Wednesday. The universities will jointly organise workshops, seminars and conferences to strengthen ties between researchers of both countries. The institutions will collaborate in a number of disciplines, including information technology, management sciences, molecular biology and financial mathematics. The agreement will last for five years and can be extended if both institutions mutually agree to do so.
