Rebuttal: Allegations that inspections were stopped are baseless, says CM House

The spokesman said this was baseless as no such directives or instructions were given by the CM.

KARACHI:

A spokesman for Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has categorically denied the allegations made by Sindh Labour Minister Ameer Nawab that appeared in a section of the press, said a handout on Thursday.

Nawab had told The Express Tribune that the CM had stopped him from taking action against factories violating labour rules. The spokesman said this was baseless as no such directives or instructions were given by the CM. “It is strange that a minister is alleging verbal orders were passed by the CM,” said the handout.
