Lacking facilities: Only 2 ambulances at DHQ hospital

Patients and their relatives at the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital are facing problems due to lack of ambulances, The Express Tribune has learnt.
DHQ hospital management says the hospital purchased three ambulances eight months ago that have been sent to Lahore for fitting of stretchers. A hospital employee speaking on condition of anonymity told The Tribune that the ambulances were scheduled to return in a month. He said currently there were only two ambulances at the hospital. The medical superintendent was not available for his comments.
