Hostage crisis: TTP video shows 8 abducted workers
TTP spokesperson says that their demands should be fulfilled otherwise the captives would be killed.

The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan on Tuesday released a video of eight blindfolded workers of the Gomal Zam Dam project pleading the government to meet the demands of the Taliban otherwise they would be killed. The Taliban had kidnapped the workers when they were on their way back from work in Tank area in August. The blindfolded body of a security official was also shown on a mound in the clip. Mushtaq, an engineer at the Frontier Works Organisation, is shown pleading the government to heed TTP’s call. Masked men are seen standing behind Mushtaq in the video, which also shows other abducted men making a similar plea. Meanwhile, TTP spokesperson Ehsanullah Ehsan said that their demands should be fulfilled otherwise the captives would be killed.
