Van targeted: 17 wounded in Hub bomb attack
It was a remote-controlled device which was strapped to a motorcycle.

At least 17 people were injured in a bomb blast on the main RCD Highway in Hub, an industrial town of Balochistan, on Monday.
Muhammad Raza, the deputy superintendent of police (DSP), told The Express Tribune that the bomb targeted a van carrying workers of the Attock Cement Factory which was en route to Karachi from Sakuran.
“It was a remote-controlled device which was strapped to a motorcycle. The bomb was set off as the van drove past on the RCD Highway,” DSP Raza added. He confirmed that at least 17 people, among them seven workers of the Attock Cement Factory, were wounded in the explosion.
The blast destroyed the van and damaged some other vehicles which drove past at the time of explosion.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the blast.
