MotoGP: Stoner to make return
Defending champion had an operation last month to mend torn ligaments and take out bone fragments.
Casey Stoner is expected to return to MotoGP as soon as he can after surgery on his broken ankle, according to the BBC. The defending champion had an operation last month to mend torn ligaments and take out bone fragments caused by a collision in Indianapolis. Even though the 26-year-old is meant to retire at the end of the season, he still hopes to return before the Australian Grand Prix in October. “I’ve still got a season to finish, I’ve still got a job to do and career to see through,” said Stoner.
