Campaign: Anti-dengue larvae day observed
Insecticide was sprayed on University of Agriculture Faisalabad campus.
FAISALABAD:
A dengue larvae eradication day was observed at University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Sunday. Insecticide was sprayed on campus. The campaign was supervised by Vice Chancellor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan. Addressing the students and staff on the occasion, the VC stressed the need to spray the campus regularly to eradicate dengue. Dr Anjum Sohail, the Department of Agricultural Entomology chairman, briefed the VC about the surveillance and awareness campaigns. Dr Muhammad Jalal Arif, the Public Relations and Publications principal officer at UAF, informed the VC that he had been assigned the responsibility of creating awareness regarding dengue at divisional level.
