Seminar: Volunteers display first aid skills

To raise awareness on how first aid can save human lives, Rescue 1122 conducted a seminar for volunteers at its Community Training Centre in Rawalpindi on Sunday. The event was held in connection to World First Air Day, during which volunteers demonstrated their first aid skills, including ways to deal with wounds, fractures and shifting protocol of injured victims. While addressing the volunteers, Rescuee 1122 Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer stressed that the ability to act quickly and appropriately during emergency situation is crucial in saving precious humans lives. Rescue 1122 is the largest humanitarian organisation in the country, which has rescued over 1.4 million victims so far.
