Busted: Four constables held for negligence

Four accused were booked under Act 155 of the CD Police Order 2002 and lockup up.

ATTOCK:
Four duty constables were arrested for negligence on Sunday after some a mine was found planted near the office of the District Police Officer (DPO). As per the findings of a three-member inquiry committee, the day the mine was found and defused by the bomb squad, the constables did not enter the names of the visitors in the register at the main gate and kept the CCTV camera off for about two hours. On the recommendations of the committee, the four accused were booked under Act 155 of the CD Police Order 2002 and lockup up. The arrested men are constables Nasir Mehmood, Tariq Mehmood, Muhammad Qasim and Muhammad Zubair.
