Cricket: No ‘wrongdoings’ found in U19 probe
The loss in the quarter-final against India was found to be the reason for U19 team’s below-par finish.

A committee, formed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), to investigate the U19 team’s shocking performance at the World Cup has completed its probe and is likely to submit the report this week to chairman Zaka Ashraf.
It has been learnt that the panel, headed by former captain Javed Miandad, did not find any disciplinary issues during Pakistan’s worst-ever show in the tournament.
According to an official close to the committee, the loss in the quarter-final against India was found to be the reason for team’s below-par finish.
“The loss to India took its toll,” said the official. “There were no complaints of any wrongdoing from the team management against any player or vice versa.”
