Appointment of new ED: PIMS doctors threaten to go on strike
According to notification, Prof Riaz Ahmed Warraich from Mayo Hospital in Lahore has been appointed as the ED.
ISLAMABAD:
Doctors at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) threatened to go on strike if the new Executive Director (ED) is appointed from outside the hospital. According to an official notification, Prof Riaz Ahmed Warraich from Mayo Hospital in Lahore has been appointed as the ED.
A press conference at Pims, held by Young Doctors Association Pims, Joint Action Committee (JAC) and some senior doctors and nurses said they will oppose the order.
