Dengue Fever: Second case confirmed
This is the second confirmed case reported in Islamabad hospitals and first case to be reported from the capital city.
ISLAMABAD:
A 17-year-old boy who was brought to Polyclinic Hospital on September 5 was confirmed to be infected with dengue virus on Saturday.
This is the second confirmed case reported in Islamabad hospitals and first case to be reported from the capital city. Polyclinic’s Spokesperson Dr Sharif Astori said that the patient, Riasat, is a resident of Sector G-6 and his condition is stable.
He added that the hospital is providing all facilities pertaining to dengue fever at a special management cell in Sector G-7.
