Three NATO containers attacked
Thousands of liters of oil were destroyed in the attacks.

Three Nato oil tankers were attacked in separate incidents on Thursday in Quetta, Kalat and in Mastung, all in central Balochistan, in which thousands of litres of oil were destroyed.
According to sources, an oil tanker, carrying fuel for Nato forces stationed in Afghanistan, was coming from Karachi when unknown assailants riding on a motorcycle opened fire on it on the RCD highway near the Lak Pass area of Quetta. As a result of the firing thousands of liters of oil spilled on to the road. However, the attackers managed to escape from the scene.
In a separate incident, another Nato oil tanker came under fire near the Mongechar area of Kalat district, some 145 kilometres from the provincial capital. The assailants set the oil tanker on fire, destroying it completely and fled the scene. Another oil tanker was attacked near the Sor Gaz area of Mastung town, some 50 kilometres from here. The attackers were riding a motorcycle and sprayed the tanker with bullets. However, no one was injured in the attacks. All three incidents took place in central Balochistan, where attacks on Nato containers have become routine.
Meanwhile, a child was killed and five others, including two women, sustained injuries in a grenade attack at a residence of settlers in Panjgur late on Wednesday night.
In a separate incident, two persons, including a woman, were injured in an explosion on the Hospital Road of Khuzdar district, some 300-kilometres from here, on Thursday.
Police sources said, unknown persons placed an explosive material along the roadside which exploded, injuring two passers-by.
The injured were taken to the divisional headquarters hospital in Khuzdar for treatment where they were identified as Ruqia and Qasim. The injured are in stable conditions.
Separately, a PTCL cabinet was set on fire in Awaran district disrupting the telecommunication system of the entire district.
