Roadside ied blast: Four militia volunteers injured
All four of the volunteers are said to be in stable condition.

Four volunteers of the Touheedul Islam militia were injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in the Bukarh area of Landikotal, Khyber agency on Wednesday. Swalzar Khan, an official of the paramilitary troops, said that around 8am, four members of Touheedul Islam were patrolling the Kata Kanrhay village of the remote Bukarh area when a roadside IED exploded, injuring all of them. Khan said that they were rushed to the Agency Headquarters Hospital, Landikotal and then shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar. All of them are said to be in stable condition. Continuous fighting between the banned outfit of the Mangal Bagh-led Lashkar-e-Islam and the Zakha Khel lashkar Touheedul Islam had been taking place. The official said that both groups were even shelling each other’s trenches in Zakha Khel Bazaar and Tirah Valley. On Sunday, two brothers were injured in Mangal Bagh Kando in an IED blast, while last week, a volunteer of Touheedul Islam was killed and another injured in a roadside planted bomb explosion.
