Domestic violence: Man accused of beating wife
Victim has been hospatlised and a case has been registered against the accused, who is still at large.

A woman has accused her husband of maltreating her and forcibly occupying her property. While speaking to media at King Abdullah Teaching Hospital on Wednesday, Isma Zeb who is the owner of principal of Excel Children Academy, said that her husband Ehtesham Elahi who works for the same academy developed illicit relations with another teacher. When she confronted him on the matter, he beat her up. However, the matter was later settled but when she was visiting her parents in Karachi two months back, Elahi again approached the teacher. When Isma got back, she reacted to the move which resulted into an altercation between the two. On this, Elahi beat her up savagely, landing her in the hospital. While showing torture marks on her arms and face, Zeb accused her husband of forcibly taking over her school building and fraudulently drawing Rs300,000 from her bank. She has been hospatlised and a case has been registered against the accused, who is still at large.
