Musharraf condoled with the family and expressed his grave concern over this inhuman incident. He said that the accused involved in such brutal incidents were the killers of the humanity and they would be dealt with an iron fist.
Musharraf said that the government would make necessary legislation to halt such nasty incidents in the future. He termed this ghastly incident as shameful and inhuman. He said that no one would be allowed to take the law into their own hands.
He assured speedy justice to the family and also strongly condemned the Sialkot police's silent spectator role in the brutal killing of the two innocent youths, real brothers, through brutal physical torture by a mob.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Sialkot on Wednesday. He went to the house of the two lynched youths in Hajipura, Sialkot and offered condolence to the family.
He expressed grave concern over these brutal murders and offered fateha and assured justice to the family, besides assuring the early arrest of the accused. He strongly condemned the brutal incident. It was the CM's second visit to Sialkot during the last four days.
On Sunday, Shahbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif had visited Sialkot. Instead of going to the house of the victims' family, the Sharifs had called the family to the residence of MNA Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Sialkot Cantt for condolence.
The Sharifs faced strong public criticism for calling the family to Khawaja Asif's residence in Sialkot Cantt and not going to the house of the family in Hajipura, Sialkot.
This strong public criticism led Shahbaz Sharif to revisit Sialkot for condolence.
Farooq Sattar offers condolence
MQM leader Farooq Sattar also visited the family of the Butt brothers and offered his condolence. He also demanded speedy justice into the Sialkot torture incident.
Talking to the media on this occasion, Farooq Sattar condemned the incident. He said that Punjab is said to be transforming into a police state and to erase this stigma, speedy justice must be done in this case.
Sattar said that the rule of law must be ensured to avoid such incidents in the future.
