SANAA: An air strike in Yemen on Sunday killed five suspected al Qaeda extremists and three women companions, but a militant leader escaped unharmed, a tribal chief said. The raid that targeted two vehicles in the Radaa area “killed five of the guards of Abdulraouf al-Dahab and three women,” said the tribal chief, adding that a rocket missed the car of Dahab, who is a local al Qaeda leader. The source said that the plane, which could have been an unmanned drone, fired two rockets.
